In April, 2007, my husband Ron, a doctor, was diagnosed with an Early Onset Dementia. I set up this blog to keep my friends and family updated from time to time, and also to give people an insight as to living with someone with this disease from day to day as it progresses.
My dear friend Anne, I am stuck by your grace in the face of days that would cripple the strongest of us. You are really something and I value our friendship. This blog may be keeping you sane, but it is also allowing your friends and family to gain insight. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Joanne. It is not the blog that keeps me sane. It is the treasured people in my life that love me.
ReplyDeleteDear Anne, I think of you a lot and you and your family are truly amazing for dealing with Ron's illness in such a patient and loving way. It must be so hard for you, especially to lose your life partner in such a way. I also wanted to comment on the above photo: This is what my house look like every day and Ron wasn't even here!
